Through our bug and crash reporting features, Unity developers can discover and address issues with their shipped games in real-time.

Responsibilities

• Design and integrate developer services into the Unity Editor and Runtime to ensure game creators have access to the latest information around bugs and crashes
• Design and build services that operate at massive scale and focus on helping our developer community solve issues in their products
• Research and prototype emerging ideas and technology, and understanding how to apply to our products
• Collaborate with Unity teams globally to create an engaging and helpful experience for users
• Work on a small team to maintain, improve, and optimize Unity Bug and Crash reporting features
• Research and prototype emerging ideas and technologies to continuously improve Unity developer reporting services
• Collaborate with global teams to design and integrate services into the Unity editor and runtime

Requirements

• Experience with cross-platform application development
• Experience with C# and/or C++ development
• Design and implementation of RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with security and scalability concerns in networked applications
• Strong data structure and algorithm fundamentals
• Experience designing and developing solutions with customer use cases and needs in mind

Bonus points

• Experience designing and building scalable Web APIs
• Experience with DevOps (deployment, monitoring, automation, etc)
• Experience with error reporting
• A passion for game culture, videos games, and game development, ideally in Unity.
• Hobby projects that demonstrate aptitude in the core skill requirements
• Experience with Go, C#, AWS/GCP, Elasticsearch, and Kubernetes is preferred
• A track record of solving problems in similar domains, regardless of technology stacks
