Your Role and Impact

As a Software Quality Assurance Team Lead at 98point6, you will use your leadership experience to grow and support a quality assurance team. You’ll be instrumental in continuing to shape our QA process and tools to ensure we’re delivering high-quality, well-tested software, on time. You will have ownership over our test automation frameworks and their operational excellence as part of our continuous integration and delivery processes. You will also support our infrastructure, data science and marketing teams in providing new and innovative ways to verify the quality of their products.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the QA team to design and execute the processes that ensure we deliver defect-free software to our patients and doctors
  • Help define and expand the team's charter and author project plans to deliver against the QA team roadmap
  • Partner with engineering, data science and infrastructure teams to leverage automation in scalable ways to prevent regression and ensure the reliability of our products
  • Create and drive implementation of engineering quality metrics
  • Drive improvements to test framework architecture and test coverage
  • Work across engineering to inject testing into earlier stages of the software development process
  • Track test gaps, quality and productivity metrics. Work with other teams to improve gaps from this data
  • Be the voice of excellence for our products, assess risks and ensure we ship features with a focus on quality

Qualifications

  • 8+ years experience in the Quality Assurance field
  • Experience leading teams and developing testing frameworks
  • Strong experience with Java, groovy, C# or python
  • Experience working effectively with software engineering teams
  • Highly innovative, flexible and self-directed
  • Ability to think big and help innovate in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Math or equivalent experience
