Your Responsibilities and Functions Include:
● Organize, oversee and manage project charter
● Consult with project sponsor and product owner on project expectations and team composition, while driving creative solutions
● Training and mentoring on technical skills (see below)
● Comfortable working with our business development team on preparing solutions for clients, including both presenting slide decks as well as writing proposals (including both technology and team composition recommendations)
● Work with our resource management team to put the team together for new projects
● Up to 25% travel required
● Responsible for team utilization percentages and budgets
● Comfortable working with a cross-functional team (PM, Dev, QA, Ops - we work in a team-based structure, but our clients typically have cross-functional matrix organizations)
Your Software Development Experience will allow you to:
● Lead teams building large scale applications
● Deep understanding of the software build lifecycle including CI/CD practices
● Experience working with multiple software development languages
● Design of architectures to support high scale or high availability systems
● Describe complicated software solutions to non-technical resources
● Breakdown complex technical solutions for a range of experienced and skilled team members
● Use experience to determine levels of effort in technical solutions
Qualifications Required:
● BS/BA in Computer Science or related
● 10+ years of professional experience
● Strong experience with AWS core infrastructure
● 5+ years in Modern, object-oriented
● Experience working with clients
● Actively using Agile (Scrum/XP)
● Experience training/mentoring on technical skills
● Experience with scaling applications to large transactional volumes
● Experience working with large enterprise-grade Java architectures
