Uber for Business (U4B) is Uber's strategic focus on enterprise business and the Employee Products vertical (Eats & Rides) is one of the fastest growing verticals in the organization. We build solutions for our corporate users in the travel and eats space.
Under the Uber for Business Umbrella, Employee Products builds products, services, and experiences that empower organizations to grow their business. More specifically, we are the backbone of the end to end enterprise consumer experience with engineering challenges that range from building core services for our profiles, policies, etc. to more greenfield experiences, such as new UberEats offerings only available to businesses.
In the next 1 year, this team will be innovating in the area of Business Meals, developing new product offerings for our enterprises small, medium, or large and re-envisioning a differentiated business experience for our customers. Our team is highly cross-functional and works closely with other teams, such as Rider and UberEats, which means you'll flex your abilities to coordinate multiple stakeholders to build sophisticated end to end features.

What you will do
* Work on exciting features that elevate the business eater experience.
* Solve complex logistics problems in the real world with scalable technical solutions.
* Collaborate with multiple teams to enable features for business eaters.
* Work with partner teams to deliver long term shared goals.
* Provide technical leadership to more junior engineers on your team.
Basic Qualifications
* 4+ years of experience developing and shipping Android apps.
* Deep understanding of Android SDK and Java
* Experience in efficiently collaborating on projects
* Strong focus on high-quality mobile UI experiences
* Strong skills in system design, coding, and testing
* Good written, verbal communication skills
* Academic background in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience
Preferred Qualifications
* Demonstrated experience shipping high-quality mobile apps on schedule
* Consistent record to use lean methodologies to resolve product-market fit for new products
* Comfortable working within the coding conventions of a large engineering organization
* Comfortable working in a large and sophisticated code base with many contributors
