We are looking for a quality champion to help us continue to build upon our foundation for engineer-led high-quality test processes. You will evangelize, enable, educate, and evaluate our engineers in providing higher-quality end-user experiences and lower long-term support costs. You'll be involved from feature inception to delivery of v1 to helping define v1.1. You'll build a team of other champions to be embedded with engineering teams and help them define test cases, engage vendors for manual testing, and define a broad + deep automated test bed.

The ideal candidate is a great communicator with some leadership experience, thorough and observant with an eye for detail, and experienced in front-end, back-end and end-to-end testing. You should be well versed in the latest web testing tools and methodologies. You must have a strong sense of responsibility towards our potential and existing customers as well as the company.

The goal is to assure the high quality of our products and services aiming to delight our customers and support team.

What you will do:

  • Evangelize processes and methods that result in high-quality products
  • Develop test plans to assess and report quality issues in a timely manner
  • Use a broad lens in looking for any aspect of the business that could affect quality
  • Grow and mentor a team of fellow quality champions that range from non-technical to engineers
  • Supervise and coordinate third party testers as well as hands-on testing (automated or manual)
  • Appraise customers’ requirements and make sure they are satisfied
  • Proactively collect and analyze quality data to determine next actions
  • Provide, and lead your team to provide, detailed bug reports that enable quick decisive action by developers
  • Collaborate with customer test teams to receive their defect lists, understand the context, and own internally
  • Work across offices, disciplines and teams to improve overall quality
  • Manage relationships with external vendors when needed

About you:

  • Possess minimum of 4 years experience in roles focused on quality
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Great attention to detail and a results-driven approach
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
  • BSc/BA in computer science or relevant field experience
