The Knock Finance team is responsible for accounting, treasury and financial planning and analysis at the company. Beyond core finance responsibilities the team helps drive the company operating rhythm, work on office space planning and other administrative items.

We are seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst who will help set the strategy and vision for the business insights platform at Knock. This person will deliver the tools, processes, data sets and dashboards/reports that will allow the company to measure what matters.

The position will be a key part of the Finance team, work across all departments at the company and work directly with many members of the company executive team as KPIs/reports are developed and ad hoc analysis is needed. Additionally, the Business Intelligence Analyst will need to build and maintain strong working relationships with the Sales/Customer Operations Team, Information Technology and Human Resources.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify all data inputs required to measure company/department key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics associated with objectives and key results (OKRs). 
• Assist in determining methodology and setting benchmarks for the various metrics.
• Design and build the back end data infrastructure to capture data from various internal and external data sources required by the KPIs and OKRs.
• Build processes around data capture (from real time to monthly), data hygiene (completeness/accuracy, reconciliation, etc.) and publishing schedules (dashboard availability).
• Select back end and front end tools to be used, working with other stakeholders with internal reporting responsibilities.
• Work with owners of internal tools including, but not limited to Salesforce and SaaSOptics, in order to understand data dependencies and integration requirements.
• Work with business leaders to identify areas of data analysis and report on results.
• Perform other ad-hoc analysis as required.

Required Background, Experience and Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Analytics/Intelligence, Finance or similar degree/program.
• Minimum three years applicable experience in designing and maintaining business intelligence frameworks.
• Technically skilled using relevant tools (cloud-based databases, Tableau/PowerBI, Excel, etc.).
• Demonstrated proficiency in extracting data from multiple systems (CRMs, ERPs, HRIS, etc.) and able to align data sets to provide comprehensive view of business performance.
• Ability to effectively prioritize multiple deliverables.
