The CFO will provide strategic and operational direction to the finance function of RoundGlass, thus enabling the achievement of the organizational objectives. You will be responsible for primary oversight of the company’s financial health by managing accounting and financial control functions and providing strategic guidance to support the company’s growth requirements. This is a key position, which will work closely with the senior management team including the CEO, business unit heads, and other key stakeholders.

What you'll do:

  • Finalize the business finance strategy for enabling organic and inorganic growth of the business
  • Ensure timely preparation of budgets for RoundGlass
  • Partner with our Founder and other key stakeholders to ensure that financial plans are aligned with business goals
  • Lead the analysis of business spending and identify areas for cost optimization and improvement
  • Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports in adherence to accounting standards and standards of corporate governance
  • Oversee monthly MIS reporting, receivables follow-ups, and payment of taxes
  • Develop and maintain innovative finance and accounting policies
  • Closely supervise and control operating costs on all fronts
  • Implement systems and processes to optimize cost
  • Develop and maintain systems of internal controls to safeguard the financial assets of the organization
  • Oversee and coordinate the activities of internal auditors

Who we're looking for:

  • 15+ years’ experience in Finance and Accounting functions, with past experience as a Controller and working within FP&A
  • 5+ years in a leadership position at a start-up
  • Sharp commercial/business sense coupled with strong functional and technical knowledge
  • Ability and willingness to take risks; have a growth-oriented mindset
  • Proactive planner with dexterity in identifying and adopting emerging trends and addressing industry requirements to achieve organizational objectives
  • High level of personal and professional integrity, both in ethics and values
  • In-depth understanding of cash flow management, bank reconciliation and bookkeeping
  • Hands-on experience with budgeting and risk management
  • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting models
