Your responsibilities (overview):

  • You will be responsible for all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, participation in budget and forecasts preparation, development of internal control policies and procedures, and also coordinating office and HR administration activity, communication with external legal counsel.

Your responsibilities (specifically):

  • Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Payroll, Cost Accounting, Fixed Assets Accounting and Revenue Recognition
  • Participate in the preparation of monthly/quarterly/annual budget and financial forecasts
  • Manage cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing internal reports
  • Support month-end and year-end close process, prepare and publish timely monthly and annual financial statements
  • Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
  • Participate in retirement plan fiduciary oversight
  • Work with outside counsel & resident agent to incorporate in different US States and produce annual filings.
  • Manage corporate insurance programs (health & legal)
  • Coordinating audit processes & tax filing process
  • Research technical accounting issues for compliance, manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
  • Provides support for business people and holding company‘s management, finance team and other support functions
  • Reviews financial and HR conditions of new agreements
  • Works together with the Group‘s finance team in consolidation, management reporting and accounting policy development processes
  • Coordinating, office and HR administration activity, communication with external legal counsel
  • Communication with bank for daily activity
  • Manages team members
  • Additional controller duties as necessary

Qualifications required:

  • Bachelor‘s Degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent
  • CPA or CMA preferred
  • 10+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
  • Preference creating financial statements in line to IFRS requirements , but in case no such experience - willingness to learn
  • Capacity and willingness to communicate and be a part of cross border team
  • Compliance oriented
  • Proficiency in accounting software and other IT applications and tools
  • People management and training skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Communication with Senior managers skills
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability for European travel 2-3 times annually
