Outreach is building a world-class finance team and is looking for a Director of Investor Relations and Corporate Development. The successful candidate will work with senior management to develop and execute the Company’s investor relations strategy, manage relationships with investors, and take the lead in corporate development (M&A) efforts. By virtue of this function, this person will have ad hoc FP&A responsibilities to support these and other areas. This role will report to the VP, FP&A, and Analytics and have plenty of C-level visibility.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Investor Relations:
  • Developing a deep and thorough understanding of the Company’s platform, solutions, and corporate strategy; support the delivery of this strategy to both internal and external audiences through clear and compelling written and oral communication 
  • Shaping, articulating, and managing the Company's investment story and maintaining a strong presence with the investment community
  • Leading the development and implementation of a targeted investor relations strategy to maximize the Company’s long-term value creation and ensure the consistent presentation of that strategy across all external messaging
  • Developing strong relationships with investors and sell-side analysts leading to a deep understanding of Wall St models and KPIs 
  • Overseeing the preparation of private IR materials including mock public earnings preparation 
  • Monitoring industry and competitor developments, alert management and prepare proactive and reactive plans as needed
  • Corporate Development
  • “Deal Lead” for all elements of the M&A process, including closely engaging with senior leaders and participants both internally and externally
  • Partnering closely with the executive team in evaluating acquisition opportunities and developing and presenting business cases in support of acquisition targets 
  • Leading diligence and developing deal structures, negotiating terms, planning integration, and collaborating with business and functional leaders to integrate the acquired businesses 

Qualifications:

  • Experience as a software research analyst, buy-side investor, or investment banker 
  • Extensive knowledge of SaaS models and KPIs
  • Outstanding executive presentation skills which enable highlighting key drivers in consumable formats, both excel and PPT
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and proven experience in cultivating collaborative working relationships with teams across an organization
