Finance @ Convoy seeks to have a broad lens on ROI; balancing financial stewardship vs. enterprise value, growth/winning, and physics. Our goal is never limited to building a great financial model or processing results downstream; we aim to be regarded as trusted advisors and thought leaders by our business partners. About You:

Convoy's Finance team is looking for a Finance Business Partner to help scale our team. FBPs are the go-to finance contact for their departments. Their role is to provide 'real-time' support and analysis, to be a trusted adviser, and to add value that will assist in decision making. Ideal candidates are eager to get their foot in the door at a fast-paced, rapidly growing startup and are excited about taking a high ownership role in a rapidly growing organization.

You will take ownership of:

• Embed deeply with department leads and their teams to become an SME.
• Link business strategy to financial reporting, KPIs, and goal setting.
• ID risks and opportunities and partnering to flush out and solve.
• Own planning and reporting end to end.
• Perform detailed financial modeling and reporting that is flexible and scalable as we grow.
• Develop processes that enable our teams to move fast and make high ROI decisions for Convoy.

You have the following skills and experience:

• 5+ years of Finance experience in a growing tech company, fortune 500, or logistics. 
• You are able to see around corners to suggest, own, and drive projects that are a part of the larger strategic vision for Convoy.
• You excel in a dynamic work environment as an early member of a growing organization. 
• You are an excellent communicator that can flow across a wide range of partners (product, engineering, sales, OPS etc) and drive effective collaboration and commitment.
• You love working with numbers and have owned 3-sheet financial models and corporate budgets. You can assess costs, benefits, and risks for the organization.
• Superior organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple projects and tasks.
