The Head of Finance will provide strategic and operational direction to the finance function of RoundGlass, enabling the achievement of the organizational objectives. You will drive accurate preparation of the book of accounts and its timely reporting, develop robust financial/ accounting systems and processes across the organization, implement good corporate governance policies and risk mitigation practices, and develop strong relationships within the finance team across group companies in India and the US.

What you'll do:

• Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports in adherence to accounting standards and standards of corporate governance
• Lead the analysis of business results and relevant KPIs and identify areas for cost optimization and improvement
• Partner with finance team and founder of the company to ensure that financial plans are aligned with business goals
• Oversee monthly MIS reporting, receivables follow-ups, payment of taxes, etc.
• Develop and maintain innovative finance and accounting policies
• Monitor compliances with direct & indirect tax including transfer pricing
• Drive the timely completion of the annual budgeting process, monthly rolling forecast and plan for working capital requirements for the business
• Preparation of the monthly dashboards and tracking of the actual performance versus the budget and the rolling forecast
• Ensure timely payments to vendors / contractors
• Closely supervise and control operating costs at all fronts
• Implement systems and processes to optimize cost
• Develop and maintain systems of internal controls to safeguard the financial assets of the organization
• Oversee and coordinate the activities of internal auditors

Who we're looking for:

• 12+ years experience in the Finance / Accounting industry, current CPA certification preferred
• Sharp commercial/ business acumen coupled with strong functional and technical knowledge
• Ability and willingness to take risks; Should have a growth-oriented mindset
• Proactive planner with dexterity in identifying and adopting emerging trends and addressing industry requirements to achieve organizational objectives
• Articulate, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
• High level of personal and professional integrity, both in ethics and values
• High energy and motivated individual with sound ability to operate in a dynamic and complex business environment
• Familiarity with tech and start-up environment preferred
