The Senior Accountant will play a crucial role in activities surrounding full cycle accounting, the close process, annual audits, and special projects as assigned.

This position requires in-depth knowledge of accrual basis accounting, proficiency in accounting systems and strong motivation to contribute to the achievement of an efficient financial reporting process. In addition, the Senior Accountant will require great attention to detail and the ability to deliver results under deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in day to day activities of various full cycle accounting processes. This may include processing of AP invoices and employee expense reports, maintaining sales tax and fixed assets transaction and other supporting activities
  • Assist in the monthly financial close process for US and international subsidiaries. This will include maintaining the close schedule, preparing journal entries, and performing account analyses and reconciliations
  • Support the accurate and timely reporting of all monthly financial information
  • Interact with other departments to verify the accuracy of transactions
  • Provide support during the annual financial statement audits
  • Assist with the coordination and preparation of all federal, state, local and international tax and statutory filing requirements
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in Accounting or Finance, CPA certification is preferred
  • 4+ years accounting experience preferably a mix of public and private industry experience
  • Ability to work independently and balance multiple projects and processes simultaneously
  • Well-developed problem-solving and analytical skills. Able to discern alternatives and make objective recommendations and understand how to effectively work with other business groups to accomplish goals
  • Team player able to effectively interact with colleagues and business partners across the Company
  • Organization and great attention to detail
  • Experience working in NetSuite a plus
