We are looking for a smart, enthusiastic Senior Accountant who is excited to make an impact at a growing company. You'll work with the Controller to master the month-end close and deliver accurate, beautiful, and useful data that guides strategic decisions. As part of the finance team, you'll have the unique opportunity to solve big company accounting challenges while enjoying the perks and camaraderie of a small-size environment. 

You'll be responsible for...

  • Owning the expense responsibilities for month-end close
  • Working with service providers to manage accounting operations for international subsidiaries
  • Leading cash management for a consolidated company
  • Managing monthly sales commissions
  • Ensuring all transactions are recorded in accordance with managerial accounting structure
  • Reviewing vendor invoices and expense reports entered by AP specialist
  • Ensuring local tax filings are completed
  • Maintaining monthly prepaid expense account and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Preparing/reviewing journal entries
  • Driving significant, non-routine projects to completion

What you'll need...

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is preferred
  • 3+ years experience at staff accountant level or above
  • CPA and/or public accounting experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP required; experience with foreign currency, consolidations, and inter-company transactions preferred
  • Hyper focused on accuracy and organization with relentless attention to detail
  • Desire to improve processes and create efficiencies
  • Ability to solve complex, unstructured problems in a resourceful, self-directed manner
  • Outstanding communication skills and the ability to motivate others to work toward a common goal
  • Advanced Excel skills required; proficiency in NetSuite, Concur, and Adaptive Insights
