We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join the Finance and Accounting team at Flexe. This position reports to the Sr Revenue Manager and is focused on supporting Flexe’s Revenue cycle. This role will support all revenue streams, related accounts, and processes. The right candidate will analyze data, work with internal business partners to ensure accurate billing and timely collection of invoices, and ensure appropriate revenue recognition for all client contracts.

What You'll Do:

• Prepare and analyze month, quarter, year-end financials and key metrics against targets.
• Work with stakeholders to explain variances, identify trends, and recommend actions.
• Support the daily operations of the Revenue cycle including month-end, and quarter close procedures including accounts receivable aging and analysis, bad debt allowance, preparation of journal entries and related reconciliations.
• Work with high volume data analyses
• Analysis of monthly, quarterly financial margin analysis by customer and revenue programs
• Support annual external audit by compiling revenue audit requests and responding to auditor inquiries
• Identify areas to improve and automate reports and processes, resulting in greater accuracy and efficiency.
• Ad-hoc analyses and projects.

Does This Sound Like You?

• 4+ years of experience in a technology-related environment in an accounting role, with at least one year as a Senior Accountant. 
• Broad knowledge of advanced accounting principles, accounting systems, analytical functions, internal controls, and monthly close processes.
• Highly analytical and proven ability to solve problems with no instruction on day-to-day work and collaborate on methods and procedures for new assignments.
• Proven ability to manage your workload, organize and prioritize tasks, and clearly communicate status.
• Experience in relational database background with hands-on experience building reports and dashboards a plus.
• Preferred tool set: SQL, Looker, Excel, Jira, Confluence, Metabase, Python, Git and other Business Intelligence tools.
• Possesses a continuous growth mindset, high sense of urgency, and a strong desire for excellence.
• Ability to work effectively with a wide variety of people, strong interpersonal skills, strong communication skills, both written and oral.
• Must have excellent Excel skills.
