Senior Revenue Accountant
This role will sit in our Seattle, WA office and we are currently open to a remote option for this position.
We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join the Outreach Finance team. This critical hire will report to the Senior Accounting Manager and will be an integral part of the Accounting team mainly focused on Revenue. The Accounting team is responsible for accurate financial reporting, and efficient financial operations across Outreach. We collaborate with teams across the Outreach organization (including Accounts Receivable, Sales, Billing, and FP&A).
Your Daily Adventures Will Include
- Perform monthly journal entries and reconciliations for higher risk areas, such as revenue
- Review journal entries and reconciliations prepared by Staff Accountants
- Review non-standard contracts and analyze revenue recognition arrangements
- Implement controls and operational processes for our revenue cycle
- Complete monthly variance analysis
- Prepare and review deliverables to help complete financial audits
Basic Qualifications:
- BA / BS degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant
- 4 years’ in public accounting or a high-growth tech company
- Month-end close experience required
- Relevant certification (e.g. CMA or CPA)
- Working knowledge of US GAAP, specifically ASC 606
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to manipulate and present large volumes of data
- Salesforce or CRM experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Big Four
- Experience working for a fast-paced, hyper-growth SaaS company
- System experience with Zuora and NetSuite
