Work with a dynamic Engineering Operations team to develop and manage a worldwide budget for Avalara Engineering. This role is a key part of overall operational success and needs a strong candidate who works well with stakeholders across teams, can juggle multiple priorities and develop clear strategies to drive alignment. 

This role will be responsible for:
 

• Working with team to develop yearly budget
• Managing budget against actuals monthly
• Managing POs for all of engineering US
• Managing vendor agreements and on-boarding of new vendors
• Creating financial dashboards and metrics 
• Build framework to measure and estimate projected spend
• Report on development costs per P&L
