Description

We have an exciting opportunity in the Accounting Department for a summer intern. This internship will provide a student, entering at least their third year of their accounting program, the opportunity to work along-side accounting professionals and provide exposure to a wide variety of accounting tasks. In this Accounting Internship program, the intern may gain exposure to the following areas: 

• Work with a fully integrated ERP system
• Learn full cycle Accounts Payable
• Review Aging Receivables and follow up with collection efforts
• Exposure to fixed assets including taking inventory of asset, calculating depreciation and creating journal entries to book depreciation
• Special projects including data file cleanup of customer, vendor, and inventory records
• General Ledger and Account Analysis as time allows. 
• Administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s in Accounting. 
• Must be a Junior or Senior. 
• Successful completion of accounting foundation classes. 
• A high level of integrity, accuracy, dependability, enthusiasm, and confidentiality
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel and Word).
• Prior work experience is preferred. 
• Must be available to work up to 40 hours per week
