Job Description

Role Overview

The Director, Government Solutions will report to the GM, Government Solutions and be responsible for leading implementation, analysis, support, and overall oversight for Accolade services provided in support of Accolade’s Government Business Unit. This individual plays an integral part in the development, implementation, and compliance of Accolade engagements to include processes, and procedures throughout Accolade.

 A day in the life…

  • Accountable for relationship building and management of partnerships in support of our revenue plan once the strategic relationship has been established. 
  • Ownership of partner integration framework including process, agreements, timelines, solutions, and templates that enable repeatable, scalable partner integration. Works closely with customer service and clinical integration leads to establish integrations.
  • Participates in customer implementations by providing introductions to the partner, understanding of Accolade integration along with the appropriate solution, setting the integration up for success. 
  • Work cross-functionally to design and deliver new initiatives, practices and programs related to partner relationships. Manage roll out of new products and integration requirements to partners.
  • Partner with internal functional areas/teams to maximize partnership value results, identify areas of improvement and prioritize efforts to achieve committed revenue goals and ROI.
  • Conceptualize and manage different partner retention activities.
  • Establish deep partnership with Senior Operations leaders and work directly with this team to define, develop and support the strategy and achievement of short, interim and long-term Operations objectives.
  • Lead, in conjunction with Operations leadership, the development and execution of the operations roadmap, addressing significant opportunities and imperatives.
  • Function as an ‘accelerator’ for Government initiatives – take initiatives from ideation through design/creation and assist into operation.
  • Partner closely with the Government Service Operations and Operations Change Management team to drive communications vision, requirements and guidance in order to build and execute a successful and effective communications plan in coordination with service delivery.
  • Drive accountability (through influence vs. direct reporting lines) as appropriate to ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, objectives achieved and with unparalleled quality. 
  • Identify areas of business performance that can be improved through process architecture; providing insightful recommendations.
  • Collaborate with Operations leadership, WFM, L&D and other teams to build out more robust tools and scalable processes to ensure we reliable, predictable and scalable Workforce Planning processes.
  • Accountable for relationship building and management of partnerships in support of our revenue plan once the strategic relationship has been established.
  • Identifies and solves problems at Accolade level while influencing product lines and groups outside of Government Solutions
  • Key strategic player to developing long-term business strategy, vision, and direction for Government Solutions at Accolade and influencing senior leadership in adopting the strategies

Qualifications

What we are looking for…

  • Bachelors or master’s degree in business administration, or related discipline and/or 10+ years equivalent experience.
  • Recognized as an industry expert and is a recognized mentor and leader at the company.
  • Actively identifies/anticipates ambiguity and risk to mitigate effectively.
  • Identifies gaps in the product portfolio to define strategic issues before they impact the business.
  • Ability to work and build relationships with Federal and State Government personnel.

  • Strong personal presence and interpersonal skills capable of working effectively with others on the senior management team as well as front-line employees throughout the organization
