Our success is dependent on building teams that include people from different backgrounds and experiences who can challenge each other’s assumptions with fresh perspectives. To that end, we look for a diverse pool of applicants including those from historically marginalized groups — women, people with disabilities, people of color, people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and/or gender nonconforming, first and second generation immigrants, veterans, and people from different socioeconomic backgrounds.

We’re looking for a content marketer who loves creating, promoting, and amplifying amazing stories for webinars, virtual and live events. The right person will have an eye for top-quality B2B marketing content and a data-driven mindset to help connect content strategy to business results. You’ll play a key role in elevating Outreach’s field marketing, event marketing, and content marketing programs to ensure we serve the right content to the right customer at the right time. You’ll be measured on your ability to translate key messaging into helpful, action-oriented content that accelerates pipeline and brings qualified leads to our sales team.

Location: Greater Seattle Area

Your Daily Adventures

  • Align Outreach event and webinar strategy with industry trends, thought leadership priorities, sales and customer needs, and community-driven topics of interest
  • Collaborate with product marketers, event marketers, demand gen experts, designers, sales professionals, enablement managers, senior leaders, customers, and industry experts to:
  • Engage key stakeholders to identify the content strategy and organizational goals mapped to overall event themes
  • Manage and prepare speakers (including senior executives both internally and externally)
  • Create promotional copy for prospect and customer emails, internal enablement, and Outreach social media channels
  • Create compelling landing pages and manage web copy to encourage registration— both live and on-demand
  • Develop webinar scripts and decks that provide wildly practical, helpful lessons on how to drive predictable, efficient revenue growth
  • Create post-event email copy that keeps our audience engaging, learning, and moving deeper toward ‘decision’ phase
  • Help us work smarter, not harder, by brainstorming how we can best repurpose each asset (e.g., edit webinars and digital events into snackable content
  • Measure results (through evaluations, attendance, and feedback) on all content and communicate findings back to key stakeholders — and modify processes to adopt best practices and incorporate feedback as appropriate
  • Work with the Field Marketing team to create and maintain speaker kits (including go-to abstracts, decks, and talk tracks) for key campaigns and personas
  • Support Flagship Event agenda creation and event promotion (e.g., registration emails, digital ads, websites, promo content) and create ever-green derivative work that fuels ongoing content marketing efforts (e.g., snackable videos, blog posts)
  • Support ABM events (e.g. review / consult on decks/ talk-tracks, promotion copy)
  • Publish and internally socialize final pieces to all appropriate channels, per content dissemination plan, to ensure all our internal partners can leverage the content you produce, where appropriate

Your Qualifications

  • Experience as a sales professional and/or creating sales content is a huge plus
  • Portfolio showcasing B2B event / webinar content samples required
  • Previous experience working with C-suite or other senior leaders to execute on event scripts and content
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 4-6+ years in a content marketing role (or field / events marketing role, with a huge emphasis on content development) at a marketing agency or high-growth SaaS company
  • Impeccable organization and project management skills with the ability to work on multiple projects with many stakeholders
  • Demonstrated success with driving revenue through content marketing
  • A high sense of urgency and organization while juggling multiple projects
  • Experience working on event content and agenda creation will be helpful in this role, as will experience working with an event production team
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, or relevant field
  • Video editing and production skills a plus
  • Proven ability to follow editorial governance and coach other writers and vendors to ensure content is consistent with brand voice, style, and tone

You should include these in your application:

  • A link to your online portfolio and password and / or a few examples of pre, during and post event / webinar content you produced
  • Your resume and LinkedIn profile
  • A few words about why Outreach is interesting to you

Why You’ll Love It Here

• Generous medical, dental, and vision coverage for full-time employees and their dependents

• Flexible time off

• 401k to help you save for the future

• Company-organized and personal paid volunteer days to support the community that supports us

• Fun company and team outings (or virtual events these days!) because we play just as hard as we work

• Diversity and inclusion programs that promote employee resource groups like OWN (Outreach Women's Network), AAPI, Rainbow (LGBTQIA+), Gender+, LatinX, Black Excellence, Disability Community, and Veterans

• A parental leave program that includes not just extended time off but options for a paid night nurse, food delivery, gradual return to work, and the Gottman Institute's Bringing Home Baby course for new parents

• Employee referral bonuses to encourage the addition of great new people to the team

• Plus, unlimited snacks and beverages in our kitchen (once we're back in the office, that is!)

• We’re an equal opportunity employer. All applicants will be considered for employment without attention to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran or disability status
