Icertis is looking for an experienced communications professional to support our corporate communications activities including public relations, internal communications, speaking and awards programs, and owned social media. This position is an individual contributor and reports to the Director of Corporate Communications and works closely with product management, content, sales, customer advocacy, integrated marketing, executives, and our agencies across regions. Greater Seattle location preferred (will consider remote in US).

What you will do:

  • Support and drive external communications programs – including helping to define, measure, and present on the success of programs, campaigns, and announcements
  • Help drive PR agency success with pitch development and materials, interview coordination, and column development
  • Support the creation and maintenance of corporate messaging and Q&As across the company
  • Review or write press releases, managing reviews with SMEs, executives, partners, and customers; upload to website and newswire
  • Oversee Communications Specialist in managing active awards and speaking program, including opportunities, submission writing, presentation development, and spokesperson preparation
  • Collaborate with HR and other internal teams to share Icertis success and story internally
  • Align press release and social campaigns with Analyst Relations, Partner Marketing, Demand Generation, and other teams across the global organization.
  • Manage social media strategy, guiding Communications Specialist and intern in identifying and drafting content, maintaining a social media calendar, posting content, managing engagement, and reporting on social performance
  • Measure PR impact using third-party tools

What you will bring:

  • 4+ years of experience (agency, in-house, or a combination) writing press releases, generating media coverage, driving communications campaigns from planning through execution, working with executives, and understanding customer programs
  • Superior project management and time management skills with a high level of attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple competing priorities effectively
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills for developing impactful articles and PPTs
  • Skilled in translating complex issues into stories for a range of audiences
  • Demonstrated success securing vertical, tech, and business coverage for B2B technologies
  • Ability to take initiative to open and close the loop on communications projects
  • Self-motivated with a positive, collaborative, and professional approach to engaging colleagues
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, a team player who adapts quickly to the changing dynamics of a fast-paced startup
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Preferred:
  • Experience working with communications teams in international markets
  • Experience with executive communications, and comfort working with leadership teams
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in digital media/social media
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams and design tools
  • Experience managing social media channels
