The Team You’ll Work With

Carta Total Comp (CTC) is a platform for private companies to manage total compensation for their most valuable stakeholders: employees. We have been thought leaders in compensation for years, starting with our Better Offer Letters. As our customers’ needs expand and the market for talent becomes more competitive, we are turning our best practices into products. Today, companies use CTC to compare their salary and equity packages to real-time market compensation rates, based on the world’s largest equity compensation data set - Carta. In the near future, CTC will be used to manage most aspects of employee compensation. We are an emerging team composed of a handful of our most experienced sales reps, product managers, and operations leaders, whose mission is to scale this business exponentially within the startup ecosystem, becoming the fastest growing business within Carta. 

The Problems You’ll Solve 

As one of the first members of the Total Comp team, your main focus will be managing top of funnel activity and constantly improving on our product market fit. 

  • Create and execute the strategy to take Total Comp from 0 to 1, and then from 1 to infinity
  • Develop a thorough understanding of our target buyer and their needs
  • Collaborate with CSM’s, Sales and Product Management to constantly iterate on messaging to maximize CTC’s Product Market Fit
  • Manage all things demand for CTC; from events to emails to ads and anything else you decide 
  • Determine the important metrics which drive long term success of our primary goal of logo acquisition

About YouWe’re looking for someone highly focused, customer-centric, who knows how to work in a dynamic environment with lofty revenue targets.  Cross-team collaboration and communication is critical to success in the role, as well as efficient time management. In addition, we’re prioritizing someone who: 

  • Has a deep knowledge of growth marketing techniques and tactics
  • Cares about customer needs and pain points
  • Has a hunter mindset in understanding how you can best drive demand to CTC
  • Has a proven track record of campaign strategy, execution, testing & optimization
  • Has a passion for category creation and scaling new products 
  • Takes pride in their work and view what you do as a part-owner and builder of Carta. 
  • Creates processes that helps us scale mixed with the flexibility needed to innovate
  • Is comfortable with data and complex domains
