About the Role:

RealSelf is looking for an email marketing specialist to build, execute, and test email campaigns to engage our customers. As an integral member of a fast-paced, high-performance team, your role is to be a self starter with a basic understanding of HTML, CSS, ESPs and love data analytics.

In this role you will:

• Work cross-functionally to develop and deploy emails
• Follow a quality assurance process to ensure accurate content and on-time campaign delivery
• Troubleshoot email-related issues for internal staff, consumers, and doctors
• Monitor the effectiveness of campaigns and relevant tracking metrics
• Monitor overall email list health, deliverability reporting, and list growth
• Measure and report on email engagement and A/B test results
• Maintain an accurate library of ongoing consumer/doctor flows, communications, and metrics
• Successfully complete other related projects and tasks as necessary

About You:

We are seeking someone who is passionate for email and thrives in a cross functional team environment. In addition, this person is comfortable living in the details and loves to transform data into meaningful insights and opportunities.

You may be the right fit if you have:

• 1-3 years of experience in email marketing or related field
• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
• Analytical and able to derive meaning from data through testing and optimization
• Must be detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic HTML/CSS knowledge
• Understanding of email fundamentals: Anti-spam law requirements, segmentation, performance metrics, deliverability, etc
• Knowledge of email service providers (ESPs) like SailThru or Marketo is a plus

Travel is not anticipated for this role.

Work Environment:

The RealSelf office sits in a historic Pioneer Square building. Employees also have the option to bring their dogs to work!
