You will report to the Senior Director of Demand Generation and will collaborate with cross departmental teams to execute in person, and digital events. The Field Marketing and Events Manager plays a critical role in Pushpay’s marketing goals and efforts by owning the end-to-end execution of every event Pushpay produces, from the smallest lunch and learn to our annual user conference. The Field Marketing & Events Manager will have a proven track record of building and executing events of all sizes, from round table executive meetings to large-scale events and will own our event strategy, budget, and execution for the year.

 

ABOUT THE POSITION:

The ideal candidate has a deep passion for events. They will have a hands-on approach with their event management style, and will work closely with our segmented marketing and sales teams to plan and execute events at the highest level. This position is responsible to create virtual and in-person events(when safe), manage metrics and reporting, and collaborate cross functionally with sales, product and customer marketing, etc to drive revenue. Successful candidates will possess impeccable communication skills both written and oral and must be incredibly organized and detail oriented - managing the programs for many virtual and in-person events happening at the same time.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creation and management of event and field marketing strategy across multiple programs from conception to measurement
  • Manage and create event & field marketing budgets including forecasting, accruals, opening PO’s, payment status and reconciliation
  • Plan, produce, and execute field events that are virtualand/or in-person
  • Assisting, accelerating, and creating sales opportunities to drive revenue through custom events and field initiatives by working directly with the sales team to identify customers & prospects from target accounts
  • Managing key metrics such as pipeline, cost per meeting, cost per lead, opportunity conversion, etc.
  • Build and distribute regular pre-event status and post-event report
  • Supporting internal communication across multiple departments (sales, marketing, customer success)on expectations, goals, deliverables, event logistics, acquisition of attendee & sponsor lists, and performance
  • Reporting on the impact that field events have on top target accounts, including account engagement and pipeline growth. This includes ensuring that attribute is being correctly and properly reported
  • Collaborating with demand gen team on programs that drive pre-show interest, attendance, andpost-show conversion activity and engagement
  • Aligning with key stakeholders, such as sales and PR to maximize value and accelerate deals

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 7+ years of experience in a field marketing or events marketing role
  • Experience working with enterprise level sales teams
  • Proven experience managing, owning, and tracking a budget
  • Proven familiarity with owning and executing on marketing events (webinars, conferences, exclusive events)
  • Ability to analyze & interpret metrics around field marketing performance
  • Ability to collaborate, build relationships, and driveresults across teams (including remote colleagues)and at all levels of an organization
  • Ability to travel to events on an as needed basis
  • Basic understanding of the sales and marketing funnels
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Marketo, GoToWebinar, Zoom and project management tools
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related
