The GM of Product Marketing is a key member of the Icertis Marketing Leadership Team. The role will be responsible for positioning the ICM Platform in the marketplace and leading a team of product marketers as we transform the contract management marketplace. S/he will oversee product messaging, positioning, packaging, competitive analysis and Analyst Relations. This leader will work closely with Sales and other marketing leaders to communicate the unique capabilities of the ICM platform to the market. By working cross-functionally you will be impacting our ability to drive bookings and revenue, create loyal customers that choose Icertis over the competition, and provide our sales teams with the information they need to close business. Responsibilities:

  • Develop messaging, positioning, sales tools and collateral that differentiates our products from the competition, drives customer acquisition and retention and sustains Icertis’ leadership position in the rapidly growing Contract Lifecycle Management space
  • Understand and define the customer buying journey, and articulate the key buying criteria and business needs of our customers
  • Become an expert in our key user personas, and make compelling product demos and presentations that speak to their business challenges
  • Assess the competitive landscape and develop effective compete strategies leveraging research, insights, and customer feedback
  • Provide data-driven insights powered by understanding the role product marketing plays in product awareness and lead generation for the Icertis platform
  • Define, package, price and position our offerings to accelerate customers through the sales funnel
  • Own the end-to-end relationship with key Industry Analysts and influencers including briefings, inquiries and rankings

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years in Enterprise B2B software Product Marketing including leading a team of product marketers
  • Exceptional execution and prioritization skills, able to manage complex projects in a fast-paced environment and regularly deliver on key milestones.
  • Sales focused, business outcomes mindset, strong attention to detail with a creative and open-minded approach to problem solving
  • Persuasive storyteller, with superior written, verbal and visual communication skills
  • Strong understanding of the B2B Enterprise SaaS market
  • Data insights and analytic skills—you must be able to understand the role digital marketing plays in product awareness and lead generation for your product suite
  • Strong analytical skills; demonstrated capabilities executing end-to-end quantitative and qualitative customer research and effectively identifying and interpreting key findings 
  • Experience, knowledge and/or understanding of product marketing within a consultative/ solution selling model
  • Independent, self-starter who can prioritize and drive deliverables to execution with minimal supervision and that can engage with the product team to get things done
  • Proven track record of attracting retaining top talent and building an inclusive environment
  • BA/BS degree in related field
