Our mission is to protect life.

We’re out to make the world a safer place by solving big problems and taking on the public safety challenges of our time. From our company's inception building the TASER device to a full suite of hardware and software solutions, we are focused on providing police agencies with the state-of-the-art devices and services they need to successfully serve and protect us. In the next few years, we're going to eliminate the burden of paperwork in policing, so officers can increase the time they spend building relationships and serving in their communities. We’ll put video at the heart of the police record so our justice system can get to the truth faster. And we won't stop innovating until the bullet is rendered obsolete.

It’s a big mission, but it’s one we’ll pursue relentlessly every single day.

About the Role

You're a nerd at heart with a passion for improving marketing...through data!

You've lived and breathed marketing for at least 3 years and ready to take your career to the next level where you get to build the next generation lifecycle engine that no one else could've thought of. You get excited about all things lifecycle, from building integrated marketing campaigns orchestrated with all channels (email, direct, social, remarketing, outdoor & digital ads). Lead scoring is just the beginning for you, and you want to create something entirely new that the sales team is now helpless without your programs. You love data inputs and think anything could be solved through experimentation. All email and lifecycle programs go into autopilot and people wonder how you're a team of 1 person?!

You’re collaborative but can make decisions. You’re scrappy but meticulous. You’re analytical, but understand the value of brand. This is what we are at Axon, is this who you are?

Your Impact

You'll work with the VP of Performance Marketing and partner with the SDR team, product marketing, marketing ops, and engineering team to run Axon's mid-funnel campaigns that drive marketing pipeline. You'll own lead lifecycle programs with the goal of converting known prospects to MQAs, all the way to customers! You'll work closely with marketing ops to understand the impact of our marketing programs and help make decisions on where we should invest our resources next.

Your Day to Day

  • Manage all nurture campaigns in our marketing automation tool, Pardot, and ensure that prospects are nurtured throughout the entire funnel. You'll own the buildout all nurture streams including segmentation, cadences and be the "traffic cop" for our leads
  • Play a critical role in Axon’s pipeline growth. Partner with the experimentation team to make sure we're targeting the right leads at the top of the funnel, then it'll be your job to make sure we're sending messaging to these prospects that get them to engage and take the next step in the lead lifecycle. This is a team effort - you'll work cross-functionally with various stakeholders on the marketing and SDR teams to get this done!
  • You will own the communications for user conference and sponsored trade shows, including Axon Accelerate, Axon Integrate, and the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP).
  • Help support strategic initiatives like product launches, tradeshows, customer marketing, and "big rock" content by contributing to our promotional and follow-up strategy around each!

Basic Qualifications

  • General knowledge of Account-based marketing (ABM). Expert in database/list management and best practices. Ideally has experience managing a large in-house database. You can write email copy in a pinch as well!
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience working in a demand gen, marketing automation, or marketing operations function; B2B SaaS company experience highly preferred.
  • Adept in marketing automation operations. You should be an expert in segmentation & wiring up campaigns in a tool like Salesforce Pardot / Salesforce Exact Target / Marketo / Oracle Eloqua / Autopilot. You understand how lead scoring works and are excited to help take our internal model to the next level!
  • Good knowledge of how B2B SaaS growth marketing works: How to find the right leads, how to convert those leads, what good nurturing looks like, the importance of scoring, and why good segmentation is so important.
  • Must be a proactive & great communicator up, down, and laterally
  • Attention to detail is very important in this role - initially, you will be the primary campaigns driver in marketing automation & tangential tools!
  • Never satisfied - there is always something else to tweak and optimize. We love you if you're always curious & asking questions, then looking up the answer to see if it confirms your hypothesis.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical skills, especially expertise with Excel formulas, Salesforce, HTML/CSS a nice-to-have.
  • Design skills a plus!

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive salary, 401K with employer match, bonus and equity
  • Unlimited paid time off
  • A progressive parental leave policy
  • Ride along with real police officers in real-life situations, see them use technology, get inspired
  • And more...

We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
