About the Role:

The PitchBook Marketing team is looking for a highly detailed and passionate Events Associate to assist the Events & Partnerships team in executing conference sponsorships and events. This role will primarily support conference lead driving initiatives like PitchBook platform access campaigns for attendees. The ability to work effectively across various internal teams including Sales, Customer Success, Demand Generation, Product Marketing and the Communications team is critical to build a cohesive approach to our partnership and conference strategy.
The Marketing team at PitchBook is critical to fueling the company's growth by utilizing a variety of strategies to support our Sales and Customer Success departments grow and retain our client base. The Marketing department is responsible for all demand generation efforts by executing engaging campaigns, effective product marketing strategies, and attending client and trade-show events. The Marketing team is also responsible for promoting the PitchBook brand and managing internal communications.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the execution and management of our global partner strategy designed to drive lead generation and strengthen our brand position
  • Own the setup, build and execution of PitchBook platform conference access campaigns including cross functional work with data operations, marketing operations and the product team
  • Maintain each custom conference access campaign, troubleshoot, and support prospect and client requests as needed
  • Communicate with the Sales and Customer Success teams about upcoming and ongoing campaigns
  • Evaluate, measure and report on strategic effectiveness of conference access campaigns
  • Develop an intimate understanding of the PitchBook brand and research to constantly improve our partner marketing strategy
  • Work with Marketing Managers to monitor and deliver on partner requests
  • Coordinate on-site event needs – agreements, printing, giveaways, signage, logistics etc
  • Fulfill platform requests such as custom lists, analyst cases, marketing content
  • Implement and improve organic social strategy to amplify event reach and brand
  • Support the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors
  • Participate in various company initiatives and projects as requested

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • 1-2 years working experience. Marketing or events experience preferred
  • Bachelors Degree (BA/BS)
  • Ability to participate in planning and attending events.
  • A True Team Player. Ability to work productively across diverse teams in rapidly changing situations
  • Partnership and collaboration are a fundamental requirement
  • Relentlessly High Standards. Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and priorities. Detail oriented and deadline driven
  • Excellent Communication. Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Technically Savvy. Experience with Excel, PowerPoint and Word are required. Experience with automation software, project planning tools and Outlook preferred
