ABOUT THE TEAM:

The marketing team serves the marketing needs of the business as well as the internal needs of other departments in the organization with everything from product marketing to lifecycle marketing to corporate marketing. The team delivers on a lead commit every month for both mid-market and enterprise level and acquires about 80% of leads via content marketing.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

As the Marketing Automation Specialist, you’ll join a team that supports our marketing automation efforts for demand generation, lead nurturing, lead scoring, and automated communications programs. Your main responsibilities will include the setup, deployment, and management of automated marketing campaigns. You’ll work in close collaboration with our Senior Marketing Automation Manager, Marketing Automation Specialist and your internal marketing customers to optimize campaigns and execute testing programs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for email marketing program development and execution, including segmentation, testing and deployment within our Marketo instance. 
  • Work closely with the Marketing Automation manager to monitor Marketo automation rules and logic, build landing pages, and create reports.
  • Support essential marketing operations initiatives in Marketo and Salesforce such as managing the lead lifecycle, lead scoring, lead nurturing, segmentation, and data cleansing.
  • Evaluating and driving reporting and testing for campaign performance and improvements. 
  • Utilize campaign data to make recommendations, including database health, email & landing page performance, and sfdc campaign membership.
  • Work with the design team to create custom campaign experiences by flexing within our created email and landing page templates.
  • Driving implementation of best practices for programs such as nurture, promotion, automation, and scoring. 
  • Work with key marketing stakeholders to design and execute automated marketing campaigns and programs for field marketing events, corporate events, sales promotions and lead nurture efforts.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan, execute, and measure tests to improve campaign performance.
  • Manage user requests, provide excellent customer service and communication, and maintain SLA compliance.
  • Advise internal customers on best practices and participate in training peers in regard to marketing automation capabilities, testing, and email best practices and regulations.
  • Manage marketing automation efforts and processes, proactively researching and implementing the latest best practices, strategies, and industry standards.
  • Work with integrated platforms such as, Bizible, GoToWebinar, and Salesforce.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2-4 years experience in working with Marketo (or similar)
  • One or more years experience as a Marketo admin (or similar)
  • Experience with GDPR, CanSpam, and Data Protection Regulations
  • Knowledge of database management concepts and working knowledge of SFDC
  • Experience creating campaigns with personalization components and dynamic content
  • Capable of handling multiple tasks with competing priorities 
  • Highly organized and strong project management abilities 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business
