JOB SUMMARY

Since Pushpay’s founding, sponsored conferences and hosted events have been a key part in driving our rapid growth from 7 customers to 7,000+. As we look to the future (and to our next 7,000 customers), we are seeking an enthusiastic and data-driven events professional to join our growing Community Team. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Community, and in collaboration with the rest of the Community Team, the Marketing Event Coordinator will shape the next chapter of Pushpay’s growth by ensuring any event Pushpay participates in or hosts is carried out with excellence.

Specifically, this person will set strategy and oversee all logistics, marketing promotion, execution, and reporting for a portfolio of sponsored conferences, trade shows, and events. The Events Coordinator will also provide logistical support for all Pushpay branded events (i.e. in-office marketing events, regional meetups, and the annual conference). This individual will work on a multitude of projects with the Sr. Manager of Community and the rest of the Community Team to extend Pushpay’s community reach and ensure key business outcomes at each event are defined and achieved.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Event Coordination: provide logistical support for all marketing events, conferences, and tradeshows. Responsible for creative direction, budget, execution, and ROI.
  • Promotions: increase awareness and/or attendance for key events by coordinating collateral production, owning internal communications, interfacing with conference hosts, and creating additional promotional assets and strategies as needed.
  • Content consistency: ensure that messaging—determined by Marketing’s leadership—remains consistent throughout the promotion of each event; provide ongoing training and education to staff on changes being made; identifying and fixing areas online, in collateral, etc.
  • Campaigns: works closely with the digital advertising, marketing ops, and graphic design teams to plan and execute effective promotional campaigns for each event. solves upcoming and ongoing campaigns related to events, which may impact other departments in the organization.
  • Internal Alignment: responsible for ensuring staff coordination of marketing related events, activities, needs, etc.
  • General Coordination: support the VP and Sr. Manager of Community with various projects surrounding events and Community of Influencers.
  • Reporting: track the performance and effectiveness of each event against predefined targets; pull necessary data and report outcomes and learnings to the rest of the team; use historic data to inform decisions about participation in future events.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years event experience, prior experience at a technology company preferred but not required
  • Bachelor's in business, marketing, or a related field
  • Organized and efficient, able to develop and execute against a clear plan.
  • Able to handle multiple projects at once; sees ways around obstacles.
  • Coachable. Hungry to learn and grow. Responds well to constructive, respectful feedback.
  • Able to build consensus and collaborate effectively with multiple department leaders.
  • Able to clearly communicate new ideas, products, and campaigns to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Makes decisions independently and manages up effectively.
  • Desire to work in a rapidly-changing startup environment. Comfortable in ambiguous situations with proactive mindset and minimum need for supervision
  • Able to support decision making with facts.
  • Maintain regular & efficient communication.
  • Occasional domestic travel to support events.
