Role Overview

Are you an eager learner with a passion for marketing and a strong analytical acumen looking to play a key role in a fast-paced and dynamic team? Then we would love you to consider joining the Shiftboard team as a Marketing Operations Specialist.

The Marketing Operations Specialist will be responsible for increasing marketing efficiency across our marketing automation and operational processes as well as across a variety of campaigns including events (tradeshows, roadshows, webinars), email marketing, and other digital marketing efforts. We’re looking for a Marketing Operations Specialist with experience using HubSpot and Salesforce with a logic-based approach to problem-solving.

The Marketing Operations Specialist will also be responsible for increasing the overall effectiveness of marketing campaigns through testing, analysis, and ongoing optimization to help Shiftboard’s marketing department run smoothly. This position will report to the Director of Demand Generation. 

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for data accuracy and integrity of HubSpot/Salesforce database that enables precision lead routing, lead source attribution, segmentation, and insights.
  • Optimize and continue to build internal automation and infrastructure within HubSpot/Salesforce that yields better operational efficiency and impact.
  • Drive the planning, design, execution, and reporting of email marketing efforts that include drip and nurture campaigns for both prospects as well as customers.
  • Support the planning and execution of events (including webinars, tradeshows, roadshows, and VIP events) to ensure a positive experience and operational excellence.
  • Be a HubSpot/Salesforce power user, supporting team members as needed for troubleshooting, issue resolution, and training.
  • Serve as an in-house reporting and analytical expert, supporting key analysis to understand various performance and trends.
  • Create campaign assets within Salesforce and Hubspot, including emails, forms, landing pages, etc.
  • Leverage a broad range of marketing technologies including HubSpot, Salesforce, ReachForce, ZoomInfo, Data.com, KissMetrics, WordPress, Google Analytics, Google AdWords.
  • Develop necessary knowledge of Shiftboard’s products, positioning, and market space.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of professional experience in a marketing role
  • Results oriented with a metric mindset, a can-do attitude, and an eye for detail
  • Extremely comfortable in a fast growth start-up environment
  • Experience in B2B SaaS marketing a big plus
  • Expert-level skills with Excel
  • Salesforce/HubSpot (or other marketing automation platform) experience preferred
  • Must have the ability to learn and adapt to different technologies quickly and effectively
  • Excellent organizational, project, and time management skills
  • B.A./B.S. degree in marketing or related field required, Master’s degree preferred
