We are looking for a collaborative Marketing Project Manager Contractor who is a multi-tasker, likes to wear many hats, and juggle many different projects. While overseeing Marketing deliverables for projects, this individual will also directly manage the execution of various cross-functional efforts prioritized by the Growth Team.

The ideal candidate has had experience launching products and projects, is extremely organized, detail-oriented with strong follow-through, and has exceptional interpersonal skills. They are also able to manage multiple projects at once, deliver clarity in ambiguous environments, and collaborate with individuals across various cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Marketing Specific Responsibilities
  • Serve as a liaison across cross-functional efforts.
  • Provide project management support to the Marketing team to ensure Marketing inputs for cross-functional projects are delivered on time.
  • Manage deliverables by clearly outlining SOW and tracking all requests for the Marketing team including, but not limited to - inputs, reviews, and approvals.
  • Establish and maintain necessary forums and project tracking mechanism to ensure Marketing leads are set-up for success and are aware of upcoming deliverables.

• Cross-Functional Project Management Responsibilities
  • Manage projects that span across the Blue Nile organization from inception to launch.
  • Partner with product and project owners to define projects’ SOW, success metrics, and measurement/tracking mechanism to ensure projects are successfully executed.
  • Manage project timelines, establish workback schedules, and monitor due dates.
  • Utilize necessary forums and project tracking mechanism to monitor all milestones/tasks, ensuring project teams and individual contributors are set-up for success and are aware of upcoming deliverables.
  • Proactively assess project execution and anticipate potential bottlenecks/roadblocks, being ready to propose contingency plans and recommendations for problem resolution.
  • Ultimately be responsible for successful execution and delivery of prioritized projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred in a related field.
• 3+ years of project management experience.
• Experience working across several project types and functional areas of focus.
• Experience in product development and marketing background is a plus.
• Ability to manage projects and contributing cross-functional leads.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize without missing deadlines and working within defined project parameters.
• Exceptional follow-through, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication skills – written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence and/or other project management tools.
