This role will be responsible for developing, improving and crafting B2B paid media strategy for clients and working with partners and other junior talents to execute, measure, analyze, improve, and report on media results. You'll train marketing generalist on the key fundamentals of media buying and collaborate closely with the Social Media Team (earned), Web Team (owned), Marketing Automation Team, and Content Strategy Team to build and craft fully integrated solutions for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Champion and integrate Yesler's strategic planning and intention philosophy into media plan development
- Build budget allocations across media mix scenarios using programmatic, direct buy, paid social media, demand generation services (like Madison Logic), and other strategies to meet client needs.
- Craft, document, write on, and mentor on B2B Paid Media standard methodologies internally and externally.
- Own the results of paid media execution across all accounts and report to agency executives.
- Research and integrate state of the art media technologies, industry trends, and opportunities.
- Bring creative paid media solutions to clients and increase the overall profitability of media buying services.
- Champion client relationships and provide specific insights into the nuances of B2B media buying.
- Maintain relationships with Media Partners, Buy Desks, Publishers, and other media consolidation houses.
- Work with Account teams to grow the overall media offering with current clients and pursue new revenue sources through partnerships and creativity
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 – 10 years of experience in media strategy and/or media planning and buying, including at least 2 years of B2B experience
- Minimum of 2 years people management experience
- Experience in content amplification/syndication using tools such as Taboola and Outbrain and their strategic optimization
- Expertise in current Search Engine Market
