Job Description

The Member Marketing Content Manager is responsible for all member engagement marketing content, including: origination, writing and editing across media, developing and executing project plans for the completion of content development, creating videos, and partnering on the development and execution of a plan for content testing and optimization. This person should be an experienced content creator who ensures messages are easy to understand and compelling for a consumer audience and continually seeks to elevate content based outcomes metrics.


A day in the life…

· Write and edit content that aligns with member engagement objectives and company goals, while maintaining brand voice, style and tone across all channels.

· Research, develop, edit and customize all member-facing content, such as emails, FAQs, video scripts, online portal messages, text messages, and direct mailers.

· Establish, maintain and follow editorial governance through style guides, creative briefs, calendars and other internal tools.

· Launch and lead process for collecting, creating and sharing member and staff stories that can be featured in content, including management of stakeholder approvals.

· Create member-facing videos.

· Provide consultation to UX team on written communications that may impact the end user.

· Work with team to analyze content performance and rapidly iterate to apply those insights to improve existing content and test better content ideas for the future.

· Identify gaps in member content library and propose new campaigns for activating member populations.

· Manage creative agency resources and project resources as needed

Qualifications

What we are looking for…

· Bachelor’s Degree in English, Creative Writing, Journalism or related field

· 5-6 years of experience in online writing/editing and content marketing

· Expert wordsmith, storyteller and content strategist who can create content that captures consumer’s attention and prompts them to take action

· Excellent teamwork, communication, organizational and project management skills

· Editorial mindset with the ability to research, learn about a wide range of topics and propose creative ideas, all while operating on firm deadlines

· Experience with or ability to learn basic video editing

· Experience in or passion for healthcare is a strong plus!
