The Role

We're searching for a brilliant Senior Communications Manager to join our team and fill a critical gap on our fast-growing Marketing team. We’re looking for an experienced PR professional who is high-energy, passionate and persuasive!

This role is responsible for leading public and analyst relations as well as being a public representative for Outreach. You’ll need a passion for the Sales profession, our software and the news and market trends. Storytelling is central to this role and everything you do will tell narratives that win the hearts and minds of journalists, analysts and our community!

Your Daily Adventures Will Include

• Develop and manage overall strategy, execution and measurement of all press and analyst activities
• Maintain strong, proactive relationships with our PR agencies and manage their day-to-day activities to ensure a high value
• Act as a public relations contact, and occasional spokesperson, for new product introductions, product reviews, and other company announcements
• Proactively work internally and externally to find and deliver press-worthy stories
• Ensure Outreach executives and representations are prepared for press and analyst engagements, including developing talking points, presentations, media trainings and executive briefings
• Manage press releases from drafting through delivery, including coordinating with Content and our PR agencies
• Build and maintain core company documents necessary for PR/AR activities, such as briefings, bios, pitch letters, case studies, company summaries, decks and talk points
• Manage analyst relations, including briefings, meetings, inquires and other engagements
• Collaborate with the Marketing team to maximize the impact of PR/AR across all channels

Basic Qualifications

• You have 5+ years experience in PR and analyst relations (B2B preferred)
• You have 3+ years working for a PR agency
• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• You have the ability to think creatively and innovatively
• You work with a high sense of urgency and organization
• You have experience managing agencies and driving/quantifying results
• You have experience in the analytics, data science, or machine learning space is a big plus
• You are obsessed with technology news and deeply interested in all kinds of technology and are an avid reader of news and technology publications
• Agency experience required
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Has managed budgets

Preferred

• 2+ years of AR experience directly interacting with Gartner, Forrester and other major IT industry analyst firms
