Senior Content Marketing Manager at Outreach (Seattle, WA)
Your Daily Adventures
- Collaborate with product marketers, freelance writers, designers, sales professionals, customers, and industry experts to understand, scope and produce relevant content that meets the needs of internal key stakeholders and most importantly, our audience
- Leverage PMM-driven messaging and narratives to write and edit compelling, research-driven content in all forms. You’ll focus most closely on middle-of-funnel content that helps accelerate pipeline and bring qualified leads to our sales team— so you must be experienced / excited to produce everything from: An infographic to explain our value propositions, An e-book to help educate how our platform helps solve persona pains, Landing pages that compel key personas to trust us as a partner in their journey and ‘download’ to learn more, How-to guides that provide wildly practical, helpful lessons on how to drive predictable, efficient revenue growth, and Prospect email copy that keeps our audience engaged, learning and moving deeper toward ‘decision’ phase
- Help us work smarter, not harder, by brainstorming how we can best repurpose each asset to fully maximize the potential of each effort
- Partner with contractors to successfully deliver projects on time, on brand, and on budget— this might include scoping projects, managing workflows, reviewing content, effectively answering questions to set our contractors up for success
- Manage and optimize our Content Experience Platform— ensuring we serve the right content in the right way to engage and convert web visitors
- Publish and internally socialize final pieces to all appropriate channels, per content dissemination plan, to ensure our demand gen partners can leverage the content you produce, where appropriate
- Highlight content’s impact on revenue, by tracking and documenting content performance— more importantly, help us analyze the data to inform future content plans
Your Qualifications
- Experience as a sales professional and/or creating sales content is required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- 8+ years in a content marketing role at a marketing agency or high-growth SaaS company
- Content operations-savvy
- Experience working with freelancers and vendors to create branded content that sings
- Portfolio showcasing B2B demand generation work samples required
- Impeccable organization and project management skills with the ability to work on multiple projects with many stakeholders
- Demonstrated success with growing traffic and driving revenue through content marketing
- The ability to think creatively and share brilliant ideas of how to make content of all types interesting and impactful
- A high sense of urgency and organization while juggling multiple projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism or relevant field
- Proven ability to follow editorial governance and coach other writers and vendors to ensure content is consistent with brand voice, style, and tone
- Portfolio showcasing B2B demand generation work samples required
