Outreach is seeking a confident and strategic events leader to join our Demand Generation team, managing our global flagship events. The position will be focused on developing innovative in-person and virtual experiences for our customers and prospects, building our brand affinity and impacting pipeline and revenue. Successful candidates will have experience with project management, production, and cross functional collaboration. You are an experienced events manager with a strong program management background, and have experience with managing internal stakeholders, agencies and vendors for both virtual and in-person events. You’re someone who stays ahead of the latest experiential innovations in the industry and are comfortable with taking calculated risks in order to drive impactful experiences. This person must be a proactive self-starter, incredibly detail oriented and possess impeccable communication skills. 


Location: Open to remote in the United States with travel when required. #LI-remote

What you will do

  • Develop and execute a detailed plan for delivering large scale Outreach flagship events including our Unleash industry conference, multi-city Roadshow Series, and virtual Outreach product customer events.
  • Research and understand personas for each event type to maximize impact.
  • Work closely with executives, senior leaders and stakeholders to define messaging, agenda, speakers, training, content strategy, etc.
  • Conduct executive briefings, pre event planning meetings and post event reports, including but not limited to attendee surveys, analytics, and lessons learned.
  • Create processes to drive effective and streamlined workflows and decision making. 
  • Own and execute overall logistics, content development, speakers, sponsorships, production, staffing, and internal alignment on goals.
  • Navigate and own all end-to-end operations for events & activations working closely with internal cross-functional teams such as; Demand Gen, Solutions Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Legal/Compliance, Analyst Relations, as well as external partners and agencies.
  • Manage all agency coordination, vendor RFP and management, budget tracking, internal tech enablement. 
  • Project manage all events to ensure all milestones are achieved on time and on budget before, during and after the event. Present milestones and updates for core execution team and weekly executive updates.
  • Maintain registrations sites, communications, client meetings, mobile apps, and feedback surveys.
  • Escalate risks and issues through appropriate channels to ensure the event is delivered seamlessly.
  • Work with analytics team to summarize results, key learnings and business impact(s) of events and activations, as well as create dashboards /reports to share event progress for stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills

  • 7+ years’ experience in leading physical events of 2K+ attendees from the ground up 
  • Exceptional project management skills with experience gaining team consensus and driving deliverables
  • Demonstrated ability to create net new event types based on business need and build/pitch event strategy at the leadership level based on business need
  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity, with the ability to drive clarity for the team and influence decision making
  • Data-driven mindset focused on setting and measuring KPIs and creating and executing revenue generating events 
  • Proven ability to build and pitch event strategy at the leadership level
  • Proven track record of designing and delivering highly effective and engaging event experiences 
  • Proficiency in event management tools such as Bizzabo, Cvent, Hoppin ZoomWebinars, GoToWebinar, etc
  • Creative, innovative, resourceful, with a get-it-done mentality 
  • Thrives in an ever-changing environment with competing priorities 
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize, and manage workload to strict deadlines, and operate effectively under remote management
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including ability to negotiate with third parties and partners 
  • Experience working in an integrated marketing/demand gen organization 
  • Positive and motivated self-starter
  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity, with the ability to drive clarity for the team
  • CMP Preferred
