We are looking for a Senior Manager of Product Marketing & Customer Programs to help tell the Chef story through customer evidence. This role is responsible for developing customer evidence programs at Chef, bringing the customer perspective into all we do in order to accelerate revenue growth. In the role, you will work closely with our customers and customer facing teams including sales, customer success, marketing, product management, and business development.

What You’ll Do:

• Design Chef’s customer evidence program to identify and tell our most compelling customer stories.
• Partner closely with sales, customer success, partners, and our customers to uncover, understand, and prioritize great customer stories.
• Create quality content and manage third party development of customer case studies in written and video formats.
• Land customer stories in campaigns by working with demand generation colleagues.
• Work with our public relations team to maximize customer story visibility.
• Identify ROI drivers and influence our value selling approach and tools at Chef.
• Explore customer advisory board models to expand Chef’s avenues for customer input.
• Synthesize customer stories and value drivers to develop intelligence all teams at Chef can use.
• Advocate for customer value within Chef, influencing product management, marketing, and the rest of the organization to act to maximize customer outcomes.
• Take on additional product marketing projects based on deep understanding of customer organizations and their needs.

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum of 7 years demonstrated experience in Product Marketing, Customer Marketing, or related roles (Content Marketing, Sales Enablement, Competitive Analysis, etc.).
• Experience in enterprise software markets, particularly platforms and open source software.
• Familiarity with DevOps, configuration management, release management, test-driven development, information security standards, and the container ecosystem.
• Excellent verbal communication skills, including a dynamic and engaging presentation style that inspires confidence.
• Strong written communication skills.
• A deep love for generating beautiful, easy to understand content that produces results.
• An ability to collaborate effectively across functions and organizations.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver measurable results.
