About the Role:

We’re seeking an experienced, innovative Senior Social Media Manager to lead our social media efforts. This person will be responsible for developing social media as a strategic brand, engagement, acquisition channel, and evolving our social media program with creative storytelling on existing, new and emerging platforms. The successful candidate will also create campaign strategies that significantly grow brand awareness among our target audience and drive them to our website.

In this role you will:

• Define strategy and objectives for all social channels
• Drive execution and optimization based on overall business goals
• Lead and develop a lean, highly effective team
• Lead and project manage social programs, collaborating with internal teams and outside vendors to implement on time and within budget 
• Collaborate with brand, PR, demand generation, content, and other marketing and business teams to build effective campaigns, guiding the development of engaging content, images, and videos across all social platforms
• Work with the Community team to build effective process to address questions and concerns from consumers and medical professionals
• Analyze feedback from all key audiences via social channels that can help inform and improve our business and products
• Spearhead social reporting and analysis to improve performance and optimize future content and programs

About You:

The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, looking around corners to help RealSelf’s social strategy evolve with at the pace of technology, cultural shifts, and consumer expectations.

You may be the right fit if you have:

• 7-10 years of progressive experience in social media, with a proven track record of working strategically to develop creative social media plans 
• Experience developing and managing a strategic social media program, team and department budget
• Experience developing content-rich, multimedia programs to increase engagement, build brand equity, loyalty and engagement through social media execution
• Must be conversant in the latest social media platforms and technology, including best practices for social media strategy, content and design 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in delivering clear and concise information through social content, written documents, and presentations
• Intellectual curiosity and strong willingness to learn and push the envelope on innovation
• Platform experience with Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and YouTube
• Experience in beauty or aesthetics preferred

Travel: Minimal travel may be required.

Work Environment:
