Principal TPM Manager
The Challenge

We are looking for an experienced leader to manage the TPM team that drives all Engineering-wide initiatives. In this role you will manage a team of Senior, Staff, and Principal level TPMs who own highly technical platform-focused programs like Reliability and Availability, as well as more product-focused investments like Accessibility and Globalization. Your team will be responsible for defining requirements and multi-quarter or multi-year roadmaps for complex program areas, and then coordinating across teams and across disciplines such as Engineering, Product Management, Customer Success, Global Operations, Marketing, and more to ensure that those goals are met. As a leader in the organization, you will also establish mechanisms to drive visibility and alignment for all cross-Engineering initiatives. Some of these will be led by TPMs on your team and others will be driven by TPMs who are embedded in specific Engineering teams, you will design a sustainable operating model that empowers the entire TPM community at Qualtrics.

The ideal candidate must enjoy being challenged, learning by doing, and working as a team. You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and you must partner well with others -- both inside Engineering and in other organizations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field
- 7+ years of technical program/project management or similar experience
- 3+ years of people management experience
- Experience managing and successfully delivering large‐scale software development projects
- Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver projects with multiple dependencies and constraints
- Ability to communicate effectively and establish credibility with technical and non‐technical partners including executive staff
