About the Role:
The PitchBoook IT Team provides our end-users with top-notch customer service and efficiency. Our team is highly collaborative in supporting our worldwide users in person, as well as remotely. We share a passion for technology and happily share our expertise among ourselves and our customers.
The System Administrator is responsible for the design, installation, configuration, and maintenance of all company computer systems—such as servers, switches, firewalls, and cloud-based tools. They are also tasked with coordinating with other departments to assist in technical projects when necessary.
Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with all internal teams to identify and implement necessary IT solutions
  • Plan, configure and maintain all infrastructure hardware and software systems
  • Aid with escalated helpdesk support tickets
  • Coordinate with outside vendors of hardware, software, and services to provide a seamless experience for end-users, anticipate future needs, and control organizational costs
  • Investigate, understand, and resolve problems with local and remote infrastructure
  • Administer access, permissions and privileges for on-site resources and cloud services
  • Support the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors
  • Participate in various company initiatives and projects as requested

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • 4+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Cisco switch programming/administration
  • Windows Server administration (Active Directory, Exchange, Group Policy)
  • Proficient in PowerShell
  • Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, VoIP, file servers, firewalls esp. SonicWALL, switches, Wi-Fi)
  • Experience working with Microsoft Azure
  • Proficiency with the MS Office suite including in-depth knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel with the ability to pick up new systems and software easily
  • Ticketing/issue tracking software
  • Self-directed: sets and meets deadlines, multi-task and prioritizes
