Principal Product Manager - Technical - Alexa
DESCRIPTION
Want to join a startup team building new Alexa products for hospitality and other out-of-home segments? As a Principal Product Manager for Alexa, you will have an enormous opportunity to impact the experience, design, architecture, and implementation of cutting-edge products and services for enterprise customers. You will drive product strategy and definition, and collaborate with engineering to develop and launch features.
The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of the software development process, a demonstrated track record of delivering and scaling new products, and passion for innovating on behalf of developers and enterprise customers. They value collaboration, data-driven decision making, learning, and can comfortably communicate with others, in both technical and non-technical roles.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead product strategy and vision
· Create buy-in for the product vision across the Alexa organization
· Establish metrics and key performance indicators for success
· Develop detailed business requirements, user stories, and product specifications
· Create and influence product roadmaps across a large organization
· Work closely with engineering teams, designers, business development, and finance teams to deliver exceptional results
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· 10+ years of experience delivering software products and services to customers
· Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant industry experience
· Experience influencing and collaborating across multiple teams and levels in a large organization
· Ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, suggest and evaluate technical solutions, and manage trade-offs
· Ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions
· History of teamwork and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· MBA or Master’s degree
· A track record of consistently exceeding business growth goals
· Product management experience for enterprise customers
· Product management experience at start-ups
· Experience inventing and scaling customer-facing products and services
