OfferUp is seeking a Principal Product Manager to help drive the value of Offerup Autos Program and prioritize, automate, and scale as we grow.

As a Principal Product Manager (Salesforce), you will implement platform and operational enhancements to increase efficiency as OfferUp scales up. In addition, help our current Salesforce user base adopt the most innovative technologies and features that Salesforce ecosystem and partners have to offer. You will be able to directly impact OfferUp's organizational goals in both cost optimization and revenue generating activities.

Your work building and improving our core payment experiences at OfferUp will directly impact millions of users. In this role you will drive product vision, strategy, development and execution across a number of products and teams.

As the Senior/Principal Product Manager you will:

  • You will take ownership in driving new feature development through every stage of the product life cycle and delivering incremental value
  • Solid understanding of product interaction within a business process and from an end user experience viewpoint
  • Evaluate and prioritize every feature request, gather detailed business requirements from business owners and translate requirements into user narratives and implement in Salesforce
  • You will work with the Salesforce Developers/Vendors through development cycle to ensure features created meet the desired business objectives
  • You have the ability to identify gaps or conflicts in requirements, handle risks & defects and drive toward resolution
  • Validate projects after deployment to ensure they meet all operational and business requirements and drive maintenance and problem resolution
  • Liaise between other tech team, reporting, training, and business owners to ensure clear communication, understanding of product offerings at all times and ultimately project success
  • Provide visibility into status of upcoming improvements to users and partners
  • Monitor and track product feedback to help in the prioritization of development projects


Your talent:

  • 8+ years of Product Management/Program Management/Business Analysis/Salesforce implementation experience
  • Knowledgeable with developing and implementing CRM features/custom apps to increase user efficiency
  • Skilled supporting Salesforce, Salesforce apps around a B2B service process
  • Knowledge in supporting tools like Zuora, Ring Central, Zendesk, and Docusign
  • Adept at handling multiple tasks and projects at a time, prioritizing workload effectively, and thriving in a dynamic and complex environment
  • You are competent with all phases of project management, including issue and risk identification and management, tracking dependencies and milestones, and communication of overall project status
  • Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams to implement new features as well as resolve operational issues
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Goal oriented and passionate about achieving results by making on the spot decisions
  • Ability to creatively solve challenging business/technology problems
