Role Description

As a Product Manager, you will help drive ecosystem strategy for bringing third party communication applications into Dropbox and Dropbox into communication applications. You will be working on a combination of deep strategic partnerships and scalable platform products that help tie third party communication applications to Dropbox, ultimately improving the user experience for the many millions of people who actively use these products together every day.

Responsibilities

  • You will be the connection point between the Business Development Team (your close partners) and other teams in the Engineering, Product, and Design organization
  • You will build positive relationships with partner teams to collaborate on experiences that benefit both Dropbox and its ecosystem partners
  • You will collaborate with engineering and design teams to ship new, impactful features, including preparing necessary technical specifications, coordinating development activity, and tracking progress of in-flight projects
  • You will work closely with product marketing, customer success, and users to deeply understand, document, analyze, and synthesize user needs into product priorities, roadmap plans, and detailed specifications

Requirements

  • Experience launching successful products and features, preferably on multiple platforms (iOS, Android, desktop, and web)
  • Deep understanding and empathy for users
  • Ability to analyze and use data to inform decisions
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proven ability to lead teams and work cross-functionally in a highly collaborative environment

Desired Skills and Experience

  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience
