Your Impact

You will be directly involved in saving lives by contributing to the development of services for the TASER CEW (Conductive Electrical Weapon). You will be creating products that provide alternatives to the bullet and increase adoption of these through creating value added services. You will standardize best practices and be involved on the strategic planning for the company. You will help improve law enforcement training and guide future product development to help achieve our mission.

 

The Role

You will own the product vision, requirements, strategy, and planning for the CEW software services. You will be responsible for the execution of your plan and delivering a holistic experience to our customers. You will work directly with internal and external customers to understand their needs, pain points, and deliver solutions that are integrated into the Axon network and delight our customers. You will establish the standard and deliver solutions to help make device management for our customer easier from shipment to returns management.

 

You will work independently and drive fast data driven decisions. You will work directly with law enforcement professionals and sales teams to help communicate the value proposition. You will be communicating most of the time. Communicating the “why” to the development team that you will lead, the vision, the goals, the timelines, product updates, and your decisions. You will approach problems with empathy and be the expert of your domain.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Gathering customer insights through phone interviews and on-sites across the country
  • Delivering to the commitments and maintaining product quality
  • Leading a team of designers and engineers in the development of SAAS products
  • Leaning into the company culture and engaging in our mission
  • Identifying, proposing, and advocating product vision and strategy
  • Training internal and external stakeholders on the product and deliver value

Key Attributes and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years work experience as a software product manager. Preference towards enterprise SaaS
  • Proven success in creating and bringing products to market
  • You have a track record of implementing and using analytics to drive product decisions
  • Ability to generate product vision and strategy based on interaction with customer and insights into the market
  • You are able to learn quickly and get passionate about the under served and unique needs of public safety
  • Travel domestically and internationally necessary (25%)
  • You resonate with Axon's Values and believe technology can be applied to tackle public safety's biggest challenges
  • You not only can accept critical feedback, you thrive off of it and can effectively communicate it to your peers as well
  • You have experience in agile development processes and making difficult trade-offs in order to rapidly ship high quality products
  • Ability to be listen to our customers with empathy and convert their needs into product requirements
