As we continue to grow our customer base, we are looking for a talented Product Manager to take the Smartsheet cloud infrastructure to the next level of scale, reliability, performance and agility. You will be working at the heart of a fast growing SaaS solution, helping it grow to massive scale and ensuring that we are exceeding customer expectations.
This is a critical, high visibility role with significant business impact. Your chief responsibility is to ensure that Smartsheet can scale globally, deliver multiple 9’s of reliability and lightning-fast end user performance. You will drive the definition of our next generation grid - the core of Smartsheet. You will work closely with engineering and SRE leaders to drive architectural and engineering system transformation so that we can grow quickly and deliver rapid great things to customers quickly and with great quality.
You will identify, prioritize, define, and deliver full-stack product and engineering system enhancements to deliver the next generation of the Smartsheet core architecture - from network to service framework to storage and core app fabric, you will touch it all. You will dive deep into the data that underpins Smartsheet and work across the entire organization to drive overall infrastructure strategy across Smartsheet.
This is a vital role in a collaborative environment. Your success will be measured on improvements to critical success metrics, user engagement and happiness, your ability to drive projects from concept through completion, and your skills working with customers and colleagues.
Responsibilities:

• Analyze and assess service delivery, operational and customer feedback data to identify key issues and opportunities for improvement.
• Create a compelling vision for your portfolio of features, break down the work into a well-prioritized plan, and execute
• Assess opportunity, project feasibility, approach, scope
• Define detailed product requirements
• Manage ongoing trade-offs in market fit, usability, cost, and performance
• Drive project through to completion, providing detailed progress metrics during build and thorough, insightful analysis of results post-launch
• Analyze market and competitive trends to inform new recommendations

Qualifications:
We are looking for great teammates who are driven, dedicated, passionate about the space, our business and the opportunity, and are effective problem solvers able to execute with little supervision. Preferably, you will have:

• 2-4+ years experience as a product manager for a software product, B2B or B2C cloud experience strongly preferred
• 2-4+ years experience as a product owner on agile development teams
• Experience in large scale distributed systems architecture preferred
• Knowledge of storage architectures and engineering systems preferred
• Experience working with UX and engineering teams; deep commitment to customers and team collaboration
• Experience with SQL, Databricks, and Tableau, and Google Analytics preferred
• "Roll-up-your-sleeves" entrepreneurial, startup attitude, plus passionate drive and extraordinary ability to communicate with customers, colleagues, and executives
• Passion for web-based business software
• Ability to understand, evaluate and discuss technical concepts
• Experience with agile development processes and frequent product release cycles
