Reporting to the CEO, the Vice President, Products will lead the vision for and sustain a product portfolio that forms the strategic capabilities Ideoclick delivers to our clients as their digital ecommerce strategy and execution provider. You will develop and retain a cohesive team, coordinate the execution and financial management of all projects within your Product portfolio, and ensure client satisfaction. You will generate new and increase existing revenue streams. You will stay abreast of market trends and competitive analysis to ensure Ideoclick’s products are leaders in their respective areas. You will track opportunities, forecast a pipeline of projects, and develop strategies and teams. The VP of Products will be an influential leader who contributes to development of staff and creating and maintaining an inclusive environment where employees can thrive. 

At Ideoclick, we work as a distributed team. While we maintain a corporate presence in Seattle, WA; our employees have the flexibility to work from the location they choose, and we are open to this role living/working anywhere in the US.

What you’ll do:

Leadership 

  • Drive a vision for system improvement and transformation in Ideoclick’s products 
  • Actively participate as a member of the Leadership Team and proactively identify issues appropriate for Executive Team consideration or discussion 
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the organization as a whole; identify and advocate for initiatives and processes that will facilitate the organization achieving its strategic priorities 
  • Direct collaborative efforts to deepen cross-system understanding and integration with the Innovation, Strategic Capabilities, and Delivery teams 
  • Building and growing a high performing team hyper-focused on delivering high-quality products that enable our clients to meet their sales and performance objectives 
  • Actively contribute to the development of a diverse, equitable, and inclusive culture wherein all staff feel valued and safe exercising curiosity and delivering and receiving feedback 

Practice Management & Delivery 

  • Build innovation and product development capabilities 
  • Introduce and deploy innovations across product lines to help our clients sell more effectively across multiple eCommerce channels, while differentiating and differentiate from the competition.
  • Capture industry and client insights and use that data to identify unmet needs, assess the relevance and effectiveness of our offerings, and identify emerging trends to capitalize on. 
  • Develop product development processes that can identify client needs and industry trends and respond quickly.
  • Design and implement product strategy, goals, and metrics for the product teams and drive the team’s success 
  • Lead the development of Ideoclick’s core products, which are a combination of software, systems and strategy 
  • Work with the technology team to define requirements and launch new capabilities 
  • Identify and develop key skills, capabilities, and partnerships required to support a best-practice and innovation-driven products organization 
  • Responsible for ensuring that the Client Success and Marketing and Sales organizations are briefed and properly trained to market, sell and deliver industry leading products.
  • Hire, develop, and manage a high performing Product team 
  • Support the Delivery organization to ensure products are meeting client needs and the Delivery team is equipped to effectively deliver Ideoclick’s products 
  • Maintain client relations and conduct periodic client feedback meetings and project reviews 
  • Manage and allocate budget and resources aligned with Ideoclick objectives 

Business Development & Marketing 

  • Generate business for Ideoclick by successfully engaging new and existing clients and contributing to proposals 
  • Work closely with the Business Development team to design strategic marketing efforts, including dissemination of Ideoclick work products 
  • Act as a thought-leader on product issues, including presenting at and attending conferences and professional network events; and producing blog and other marketing content 

What you’ve done:

  • 10+ years of experience leading product development teams building highly scalable products with quick innovation cycles
  • Passion for improving products and solving problems 
  • Experience building technology & process products 
  • Strong background in eCommerce, including experience solving common industry challenges across performance marketing, inventory management, retail media placements.
  • Fluency leading teams conducting mixed-methods community research, evaluation, strategic planning 
  • Demonstrated ability to be an effective, efficient, and positive team leader 
  • Cultural humility in leading a diverse staff and engaging with clients and their stakeholders
  • Travel as Required upon return to in-person operations. 

What you’ve got:

  • High fluency with product management software including Jira, PowerBI, Figma 
  • Excellent organizational skills, work habits, verbal, and written communication skills 
  • High level of integrity 
  • Ability to learn new software applications as needed 
  • Ability to lead client leadership and their stakeholders through complex decision-making processes 
  • Ability to carry out responsibilities with a growth mindset, incorporating feedback and lessons learned for continuous improvement
