Your New Role...
This Executive Assistant position will support two senior level Executives of Engineering within the Streaming Technology organization at Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD).
Your Role Accountabilities...
- Basic Administrative responsibilities - manage calendar, manage schedules, manage travel, expense reports, ensure team meetings are set up well, work to ensure smooth running of meetings, including the tech details + agenda + pre-read readiness. [eg: scheduling conference rooms, bridge lines, catering, and audio/visual/IT support, handling multiple timezones + office locations]
- Coordinate and prepare meeting materials, agendas, notes, handouts, presentation decks, etc. Ensure pre-read material is circulated at least 1 working day prior to meeting. Otherwise cancel.
- Day to day management of purchase orders and invoices + working with finance on overall budget management
- Be the exec whisperer - keep pulse of the organizational health & needs, and help steer exec's attention to impending needs
- Be a core partner to executive on shaping the culture of the organization, understand business priorities to inform improved time management for the executive, be proactive in planning things like all hands, town halls, offsites, summits, review calendar time spent regularly to ensure meeting times are aligned with exec's business priorities
- Be a force multiplier by driving ideas & visions from executive into action, and mobilize needed resources to deliver on them - example, organizing a data partner summit, organizing women in the org regular luncheons, coffee chats or other ways for exec to stay connected with all levels of the organization
- Be a strong team player with other departmental/office assistants
- Function as administrative liaison to group staff, as well as, other groups within the CTO's department and across WBD
- Assist with special projects, events, and provide general office support, as needed
- Have strong writing, communication skills to be able to draft basic org-wide and related communications on behalf of the executive, to help prepare templates for presentations and such
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Experience...
- 5-7 years administrative/coordination experience
- Must be a team player with proven track record of collaborating across multiple teams
- Must have strong program management skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, and understanding of the media + tech industry to comprehend the org's priorities
- Must be flexible and be able to manage ambiguity
- Positive attitude, sense of humor, and ability to thrive in and create a fun work environment
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Must be articulate, personable, detail-oriented, and have strong organizational, communication, and administrative skills
- Must have demonstrated experience and competency in providing senior executive administrative assistance or departmental support and coordination
- Must demonstrate confidentiality and flexibility in accepting new and changing responsibilities and be a proactive problem solver
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in workplace applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) are required. Should be open to learn and master new computer skills as required
- Must have the legal right to work in the United States
- Light travel may be required
- Having a passion for DEI initiatives, interest in finance & budget planning and a strong growth mindset are a plus

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $83,079.00 - $154,290.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
