We are expanding and looking for an energetic, self-propelled Unity Animator (with focus on Motion Design) to join our creative team. In this position you will create compelling, emotionally impactful final animations that fit and enhance the established style and branding of our desktop and mobile platform. We have a fast paced, collaborative environment where you will work with art directors, animators, game designers, producers and programmers in the creation and implementation of leading-edge games and features.

What you should bring to the table
● Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent professional experience
● 5+ years’ experience working on multiplayer, social, or casual games
● A high level of comfort and confidence working with game art
● Animation and Motion Graphics experience: apply your knowledge and use technical process ability in techniques such as rigging, skinning, kinetics, and basic cinematography
● Knowledge of Unity as it applies to: 2D animation, UI animation, and particle systems
● Experience choreographing game transitions, text motion effects, and button effects
● Experience in Adobe Creative Cloud software: Photoshop, Illustrator, and Animate
● Working knowledge of animation related software like After Effects, Red Giant Trapcode Suite, and prototyping tools
● Able to work well as part of a team with minimum supervision
● Experience as a Lead Animator or equivalent role where you mentored or taught other animators
● Strong sense of color, light, and design
● Experience collaborating with programmers and artists to balance seamless movements and optimized performance on the target platform
● Experience working with UX flows and UX teams
● Able to think creatively to resolve technical challenges and limitations
● Skilled at collaborating with engineering and art to diagnose and resolve issues
● Experience with Agile, JIRA, Kanban, or similar project management systems
● Demonstrable professionalism, have a good attitude, able to stay focused, and meet deadlines consistently
● Tech savvy, self-motivated and prolific with a desire to lead by example

● Experience shipping at least one high quality title
● Avid gamer that can connect with slots/casino core demographic
● 3D software like Maya

Throughout your first year you will work closely with programmers and artists to implement art within our established pipeline while helping to bridge technical challenges between programmers and artists. With your fellow art and design colleagues, you will develop and advance our visual style while ensuring art assets can be easily integrated into a game without sacrificing the artistic vision to impact players and grow our business! We hold each person accountable for their actions and expect you to be a positive influence that executes assigned tasks while helping your team members whenever possible. Since you are always growing as an artist, being able to receive feedback professionally and having the ability to develop art while managing and projecting expectations in a timely manner, is how we roll!
