Sales Strategy & Analytics Analyst is a key member of the Strategy and Analytics Team and will have an integral role in driving the insights, operations and strategy that help drive our organization. A successful candidate is a naturally curious individual who enjoys having executive level visibility and making an impact by helping solve complex problems utilizing data. This individual must be comfortable with large data sets and presenting insights to sales leadership including C-suite on a routine and on-demand basis. 

Role & Responsibilities:

Analytics, Insights & Strategy

  • Collaborate with the Sales team as well as cross-functional partners in Finance, Operations, Marketing, Engineering, and Product to help develop data-informed business strategies and roadmaps
  • Be creative; proactively investigate the functions of the business and validate through intensive data exploration to uncover new insights and ways to approach problems 
  • Perform data exploration on user behavior (e.g. cohort analysis, conversion funnel, etc.)
  • Interpret data, analyze results and provide ongoing reporting monthly, quarterly, yearly and upon request to stakeholders and management
  • Sales Enablement: build tools that track key effectiveness metrics to see what makes someone a top (or bottom) performer, then leverage those insights to empower our sales reps and front-line managers

Dashboards and KPIs

  • Develop and maintain well-organized and insightful reports, dashboards and other forms of data visualizations to support business awareness and decision-making 
  • Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of key business initiatives 
  • Create presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings
  • BA/BS in Finance, Mathematics, Business Analytics or related topics strongly preferred or equivalent work experience. MS/MA a bonus.
  • 3-5 years proven work experience in Sales Operations, as a data analyst or business data analyst
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with Salesforce, reporting and data visualization packages (PowerBI), databases (SQL or other)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office with high level of proficiency in Excel
  • Well-organized, critical thinker, dependable, self-starter, strong communicator
  • Metrics-oriented, optimization and modeling experience ideal
