What you’ll do:
- Design and build machine learning models to predict future business performance including making recommendations on forecasting and modeling methodology based on testing and modeling results
- Build testing frameworks to constantly improve model iterations and compare the performance of models and communicate results with stakeholders
- Gather and manipulate large datasets; create new and improved techniques and/or solutions for data collection, management, and usage
- You will collaborate closely with Global Finance and Data Engineering to scope hypotheses, deliver and implement solutions
- Build models to aide in decision-making and capital allocation including scenarios to influence for desired results
- Stay up to date with the latest Data Science techniques and identify new opportunities to leverage them for forecasting
Who you are:
- Masters degree (or PHD) in a quantitative field such as machine learning/AI, computer science, statistics, mathematics, economics
- Hands on experience in machine learning, building datasets, selecting and engineering features, building and optimizing algorithms;
- 3+ years industry experience in data science and/or analytics in business context
- Excellent communication skills
- Advanced knowledge of at least one of the following programming languages: Python, R, Scala
- Knowledge of machine-learning/computational packages (numpy, scipy, pandas, scikit-learn)
- Intellectual curiosity and desire to learn new things, techniques and technologies
