The Growth team uses data insights and operational excellence to build actionable plans and influence product roadmaps across Snap Inc. This team of Growth Managers works in a highly collaborative environment to actualize the growth and engagement of our community of Snapchat users around the world.
We’re looking for a Growth Manager, Strategy & Analytics to join our Growth team at Snap Inc!
What you'll do:
Build and improve forecast models that are critical for informing short and long term growth plans
Monitor and deeply understand product and user metrics by region, demo, platform and depth of engagement using internal and external data sources
Identify areas of emerging opportunities and risks based on metrics trends on a timely basis, often serving as the team’s early alert system
Develop market-level insights including market trends, consumer behavior, and driven dynamics, with a focus on identifying growth levers
Lead and present in regular meetings with Product/Engineering/Data Science leaders
Contribute to the narrative and reporting on key metrics and trends to senior executives and the Board of Directors, which in turn will inform external shareholders
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Ability to influence & partner with key internal stakeholder teams: senior leadership, product, design, brand marketing, and finance to ensure shared vision and drive initiatives forward
Ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance
A teammate who can collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
Excellent presentation skills and comfort presenting to and communicating with senior leadership
Excellent analytical skills and comfort dealing with large data sets
Able to distill large volumes of data into digestible and actionable insights
Experience in accurately interpreting trends from vast amount of data
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field or equivalent years of experience.
4+ years of experience in a quantitative role (e.g., data, finance, strategy consulting)
4+ years of experience in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau)
Preferred Qualifications:
4+ years of experience in a quantitative role with a focus in technology or social media
Experience with time series modeling, user forecasting and data analytics
Experience with Python and/or R
Experience analyzing or building growth and re-engagement channels such as notifications, email, user acquisition, or SMS
Ability to structure problems and develop / test hypotheses in a logical and streamlined fashion
A passion for Snapchat and creativity!
Compensation
In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These pay zones may be modified in the future.
Zone A (CA, WA, NYC): The base salary range for this position is $175,000 - $250,000 annually
Zone B: The base salary range for this position is $166,000 - $238,000 annually
Zone C: The base salary range for this position is $149,000 - $213,000 annually
This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs
